Villages of Lake Highlands Covid-19 Statement

The global pandemic stemming from the virus SARS-CoV-2 and the related disease COVID-19 have created an unprecedented disruption to the way people live, work, shop, travel, eat, play and worship.  The disproportionate impact on the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions has brought about the greatest challenge of our lifetime in the way we care for our community’s seniors.

The safety and well-being of our residents has always been and remains our highest priority.  As a result of the threat posed by COVID-19 Villages of Lake Highlands has radically altered our daily operations and will maintain this operating posture for the foreseeable future.

We are informed by various governmental agencies to include the Centers for Disease Control (“CDC”), the Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (“CMS”), the Texas Health & Human Services Commission (“HHSC”), and Dallas County Department of Health & Human Services. Villages of Lake Highlands’ COVID-19 mitigation efforts are continually evolving as we seek to apply the industry’s best practices as more information and the latest scientific data is made available. Please continue to check back to this web site and VOLH’s COVID-19 Updates for the latest information applicable to our residents and their family members.
